I love lilacs. I have wanted to grow my own for a very long time. Someday I will, but for now I'll enjoy the lilac bush down the street.
In our own backyard, we have apple trees. And lovely apple blossoms.
Pug is not as fond of lilacs and apple blossoms as me, but he does enjoy chewing on grass.
In celebration of the new blog, let me say it won't be only about pugs and lilacs. Cheese will play a prominent roll, as will cute wine labels and baking projects and anything else that seems fitting. This evening, for wine and cheese hour, I had a lovely cheese: Rising Sun Garlic Chive Spread from Phoenix, OR. It was creamy and simple, and I liked the pieces of fresh garlic. I recommend it.
